Guide To Success — Influencer Marketing

People trust people. Not ads.

Influencer marketing is crucial to fast scaling and promoting a solid community within organizations or product lines. While this partnership has the potential to be great, there are also huge risks involved in having an individual represent your company. For this reason, plentiful background information and analytics are needed to make that decision of who you are going to go with.

The brand we are focusing on today is Play Hard Florida. PHF is an outdoor adventure directory along with a non-profit liaison to tourists and locals. An integral part of this organization is protecting where we play along with supporting local organizations. Finding an influencer requires attention to detail and an understanding of their personality.

Why will an Influencer help Play Hard Florida?

Once again, people trust people. When a friend recommends a restaurant, you try it. There is the same effect with organizations. What makes Play Hard Florida interesting is that it is free. Our “clients” do not have to pay a dime to find their next adventure.

So what will an influencer do?

They will help spread the message of our goals and mission. We want to put more eyes on the platform so more people can go out and adventure. To hit these niche markets, we need someone saturated in the field.

Who?

The influencer that I believe to be the best fit is @everydayavacation. Sara Vozel, the content creator behind the amazing photos, is a blogger and internet personality. While primarily she is focused on Instagram, her message spreads across Facebook and Twitter. Her blogs that spread enlightenment on how and where to travel also promote ecological safety. She has great engagement on her posts with fun stories like “tap to edit” and behind the scenes. These fun and “correct” posting procedures show that she is knowledgeable in social media strategy and mass communications.

What makes Sara a great option is how well rounded she is. With travel content from multiple states, she has become a trusted blogger that is on the rise. Now currently promoting what Florida has to offer, she can spread our message to her 15k followers in an authentic way.

Along with Sara, we look to take hold of her connections. Using the Influencer’s contacts helps ensure maximum reach among a trusting audience and a better turn out for the strategy.

Collab?

Our plan with Sara is to create a dream trip give-away. We will partner with five adventure providers to show Sara and her guests what it means to “Play Hard”. The two social media winners that have shared and followed our pages will be transported to our five “natural wonders of Florida”. Along the route, we will film their adventure to create more content for our pages while providing Sara with blog material. This partnership could blossom to an annual giveaway to help solidify a connection and ensure her viewers have diverted their attention to us.

While this is just one idea, partnering with different trusted and positive influencers can help Play Hard Florida capture audiences that fit and are willing to use the website for their adventure-seeking.
